I’ve been challenged by my mental health for as long as I can remember. For years, I’d participate in programs and then my addiction would pull me back in. I had housing, and then I would lose it. I would go to the emergency room just to get a break. But the people from NovumHealth kept finding me and talking to me — in the emergency room, on the streets — trying to convince me that I should come to the Support Center and get the help I needed. Finally, I listened. And today I’m sober, drug-free, employed — it’s a whole new life. They opened doors for me, and I walked through them. I’m so grateful.
